It is Quite rare these days to have a Great Nan, but in this case Naomi's great nan is likely to outlive her .

This is Naomi being described by her Great Nan, Frances Farrington.

Hello i would like to introduce myself, I am Frances, Naomis great grandma. I thought i should put a personality to the picture. She is a very bright and happy little girl. At the moment she is turning into a real little chatterbox. She says funny things such as "your doin my head in" or "im sorry i didn't mean it". She loves do dance, paint and make cakes. Naomi loves to be outdoor, we often vist the farm near my home. They have donkeys, cows and sheep, she has no fear and loves all animals.

Naomi deals with her daily treatments very well, takes all of her medicines and tablets. She doesn't like the physio but thats because she can't stay still. She is very good at the hospital or at the doctors although she can get frustrated  when her veins collapse, after they cant get the cannuler in her hands they will try her feet. These Cannulars stay in for a week and cause her some frustration as they restrict her mobility and freedom.

At easter we are taking her to Broadwater Caravan Park. She loves it there as she gets to mix with all the other children. When Naomi hits the dance floor she attracts so much attention as the dancing queen.

I hope this gives you a better picture of Naomi and i shall keep you updated on her progress.

Naomi has just been to hospital for her 12 month check (M.O.T), i am happy to report that she is doing very well. On sat 21st June Naomi went along to watch Garry Hampson and friends performing as George Formby in Wigan town centre although the weather was terribly wet, she was dancing and singing along. Since that day she keeps bursting into song, in particular "when im cleanin windows." Even though she is only two she already has an imaginary friend, and her mind is a whirl of activity. She plays at going on holiday, ordering taxi's to the caravan and going to the library. She is very artistic, loves to glue, paint and bake. When visiting the farm she talks to the animals as if they understand her and she loves to pet and feed them. At the caravan in Fleetwood our neighbour has a parrot named Smokey, who has a poorly leg, Naomi has a toy parrot at home and pretends he is smokey, putting cream on his leg and giving him medicine to help a cough she claims he has like her.

Last week she was coughing very badly and her great grandad said to her "thats a very bad cough," to which she replied "its cystic five roses grandad and i need a vest to make me better!"

During our visit to fleetwood we bought Naomi a nightdress that looks like a nurses uniform complete with stephescope and toy scissors, we spent all night being nurses and also a hairdresser's halfway through the night pretending to cut people's hair with the toy scissors.

Next month Naomi will be attending the charity night for a short period, hope some of you get the chance to meet the star but no autographs yet please.
